History

• The Global Energy Pivot: Founded in the Kanto region, Nature realized early in the 1990s that Japan’s absolute dependence on foreign energy was its greatest vulnerability. Under Ren Katsuhito's leadership, the company aggressively expanded beyond domestic borders to secure raw assets at the source.
• The American Fracturing Venture: Recognizing the untapped potential of tight shale formations in North America, Nature established a highly specialized US subsidiary. By pioneering advanced hydraulic fracturing (fracking) techniques ahead of the curve, Nature secured cheap, high-yield oil and natural gas streams, generating massive cash reserves.
